Title: Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility
Location: NY-New York
The Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) Manager will help lead strategy, programs and employee engagement aspects of Nielsen's
global CSR program. He/she will be
responsible for developing and managing efficient processes for our associates
to create, participate in, promote and recognize social impact projects
throughout our business. The CSR Manager
plays a significant role in the continued growth, alignment and sustainability
of our associates'' social impact. They will
collaborate on and manage many aspects of our CSR strategy helping to shape
Nielsen''s uncommon impact on the community.

* Design and rollout tools to help
teams lead and participate in social impact and sustainability opportunities
throughout our organization
* Manage and improve marquee
employee engagement opportunities such as Global Impact Day (Nielsen''s annual
day of service), and Hunger Action Month;
as well as develop strategy around employee giving programs
* Create and manage opportunities
for employee volunteering (skills-based and traditional) by cultivating relationships
with select, global non-governmental organizations
* Manage promotion of CSR efforts,
including content for internal and external web pages
* Manage employee recognition
related to CSR activities
* Day-to-day management of Nielsens
global CSR engagement tool. Collecting,
maintaining and analyzing CSR data and metrics for reporting and performance
metrics presentations and scorecards

* BS/BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, and/or Business required. 3 yrs experience. Prior CSR experience preferred.
* Superior process and project management skills
* Demonstrated understanding of , and commitment to, Corporate Social Responsibility
* Strong analytic, written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others virtually at all levels of an organization
* Sound judgment and professionalism with the ability to make independent decisions, demonstrate a high level of initiative and pursue proactive approaches to problem-solving
* Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
* Experience working across geographical and organizational boundaries
